Life Time Inc. has seven locations in New Jersey, with its eighth on track to debut in Monmouth County in 2024.
Coming to 200 Half Mile Road, the Life Time Middletown – Red Bank location will include a three-floor, more than 125,000-square-foot building and a ground-level, approximately 50,000-square-foot beach club, a company representative told NJBIZ.
Upon completion, the location is expected to create more than 150 new full- and part-time jobs.
Life Time Middletown – Red Bank will provide a highly personalized, luxury approach to health and wellness, featuring modern architecture, beautiful spaces and an abundance or amenities, according to the operator.
The facility’s outdoor beach club will include a bistro with leisure and lap pools, a whirlpool and resort-style seating and café.
Additionally, Life Time Middletown – Red Bank is set to offer:
- A four-level parking garage, accessible only using a Life Time card and not open to nearby park and ride
- Dedicated space and studios for exclusive group fitness, cycle, yoga and Pilates programming; one-on-one personal training; and small group GTX, UltraFit and Alpha Training
- More than 400 pieces of best-in-class cardiovascular and resistance training equipment
- A full-size basketball court with Ultimate Hoops leagues
- Three indoor pickleball courts
- A dedicated, nearly 10,000-square-foot Kids Academy, for children ages 3 months to 11, which includes its own basketball court, tumbling studio, art room, learning lab, yoga room and more
- LifeCafe, a nutrition-focused fast-casual restaurant featuring a full menu, Meals to Go and grab and go assortments, along with Peet’s coffee, proprietary nutritional supplements and more
- LifeSpa, a full-service salon and spa for hair, body and nails
- Luxurious dressing rooms featuring whirlpools, saunas, steam rooms, and complimentary towels and lockers
According to the company, the demographics and economic growth in the Red Bank-Middletown area make the area desirable. According to data from the U.S. Census Bureau, the median household income from 2017 – 2021 in Middletown was $126,519.
